Please Pray!

Hi Everyone,

This is Linda Darlene (Crúce-Robin), Lynn’s web master. I have been unable to reach Lynn, so I’m asking you to pray for her, the island of Vieques, Puerto Rico and the entire northern Caribbean area. Here’s what the news is saying:

The hurricane packing winds of 140 km/hr (85mph) makes landfall in US territory after causing an island-wide power outage.

A hurricane warning – indicating hurricane conditions are expected – was issued for Puerto Rico, including the islands of Vieques and Culebra, and later expanded to include the eastern Dominican Republic from Cabo Caucedo to Cabo Frances Viejo. The Dominican Republic’s northern coast, from Cabo Frances Viejo west to Puerto Plata, were under a hurricane watch Sunday morning, meaning hurricane conditions are possible in the next 48 hours.

Fiona was upgraded to a hurricane this morning. This is fitting the forecast just in time for landfall on Puerto Rico today. The northern edge of the storm is scraping the southern part of the island right now! With respect to motion, this is the STRONGEST part of the storm and will continue to pound the island with a slow track.  The forecast does have some places getting over 25 inches of rain.

Dear Linda, I just saw this! Thank you a million times for this. I couldn’t be in contact with anyone with no power, no internet, no phone. Having people pray for me made a huge difference here.
